As the lead contractor behind the redevelopment of Birmingham’s iconic Alexander Stadium project, we are proud to announce that we have won Construction Project of the Year at the Insider West Midlands Property Awards.

This is the second award for the project after we won the Inspiring Change in the Community Project Award for our Employment & Education Academy initiative on the project, which addressed the employment and skills gap by removing inequalities and barriers in employment and education.

We’re proud to have left a lasting legacy in Birmingham and to have been a part of this landmark project. Congratulations to all of the winners and thank you to our partners Birmingham City Council, Arup, Associated Architects LLP, BHC Limited and Mace.

The greatest challenge faced was ensuring the project ran to time and budget. This was achieved amidst a world health pandemic and a global shipping crisis – to name a few – thanks to the collaboration, engagement and one-team approach from all partners involved.
