Quality at
every stage
Delivering compliant and high quality projects for our Clients is key to McLaughlin & Harvey’s success so that we become the contractor of choice, secure repeat business and remain profitable. The Plan, Do, Check, Act principle forms the basis of our activities.
Our Supply Chain
We ensure that all our subcontractors demonstrate a commitment to quality and are encouraged to seek opportunities for continuous improvement throughout their operations by working collaboratively with us. Subcontractors must appoint a Quality Assurance Appointed Person (QA AP). Having a QA AP means improved communication, organisation and compliance on a project.
Customer Satisfaction
To improve on the service we offer and learn lessons from each project, conducting a customer satisfaction survey with the Client project team is key. If there are areas we can improve on, we want to know about them. Equally, we love to hear about the things ourselves and our supply chain have done well. This information is collated for each project and scores are analysed across all of our projects to identify trends.
Our
Charter
Our team are focused on improving quality and creating a greater understanding of our Management System throughout our business. We encourage a right first time culture in everything we do to support zero defects at each stage of the construction process.
Each of our projects is subject to director-level involvement from inception to completion and has a bespoke project SHEQ Plan to ensure consistency across all our work. This commitment is demonstrated by our Senior Management Charter. The purpose of this charter is to communicate the commitment of our senior leadership team to support quality across the business and make McLaughlin & Harvey the contractor of choice.
VIEW THE CHARTERField View
Our site teams utilise Field View, a site-based management system which saves time, reduces costs and helps the team to mitigate risk. It does this by feeding back information in real-time which gives us greater efficiency and transparency throughout the project duration. Whether storing permits, capturing snags or providing an audit trail, this software has transformed the way we manage quality across our sites and is our tool of choice.
