The works will double the current equipment capacity and enable air-lock truck deliveries to the operational areas.

The extension at Culham Science Centre, designed by Monica Jong (Head of Operations – Material Research Facility), will allow for additional industrial and academic research to analyse the effects of irradiation on materials.
