Refurbishment of the existing Clerici Building at the Oxford Brookes University’s main campus.
Works included demolition and reconstruction of the Main Hall, recladding the existing Clerici Building, and extensive refurbishment including re-fitting out all levels.
The design & build refurbishment provided a new home for the Faculty of Business and included twenty-eight teaching rooms, a collaborative lecture theatre, a multi-functional hall, social learning spaces, research labs, a café, and support areas including office space.
The building was linked to existing buildings including the Abercrombie Building. Additionally, another third-party contractor was simultaneously carrying out the Sinclair Building refurbishment, which is linked to the Clerici Building.

The Headington campus is in a residential area of Oxford and the campus remained operational throughout our works. We maintained close liaison with local residents, members of the public and university users through the university’s Estates Communications Department.
This project is being delivered as part of the University’s Contractors Framework.
